Karen Brown is a Master Bridal Consultant™ -- one of less than 40 wedding consultants worldwide to reach this pinnacle in higher education, training and testing through the Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC). For six years she served as Texas State Coordinator for ABC, and has assisted with educating and training many wedding coordinators in the industry. She is also an active member of the International Special Events Society (ISES), the National Association of Catering Executives (NACE), and the Texas State Florists Association.  Recognized as a leader in the wedding industry, she has been invited to share her wisdom and experience by serving as a panel member or speaker for many different professional associations such as NACE, the Houston Professional Wedding Videographer’s Association, and the Professional Photographer’s Guild of Houston. 

Karen’s sterling reputation in the wedding industry and among her past and present clients has repeatedly earned the attention of the media. Quotes, articles and expert advice from Ms. Brown have been printed in both national and local publications and web media (such as Brides Magazine, The Knot, Weddings in Houston, Houston Bride.  In addition, she has appeared on local television (Good Morning Houston and the Debra Duncan Show) as a wedding expert.  One of Karen’s weddings recently won the Texas Star Award for Best Event Design/Décor, in a specified budget category.

Experience    

Karen has over 25 years of experience as a wedding consultant and coordinator, having planned seemingly every imaginable type of wedding and reception: from regal religious ceremonies to casual outdoor celebrations, elegant country club soirees to grand riverside tented events, intimate private services to affairs of large-scale proportions.

She has assisted brides from all areas of the country, with varied cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
